 Harder, better, faster, stronger!Think about all of the things we love about Peoples... friendly staff, funky surroundings, great drinks, the anthemic soundtrack and the pure "wave your hands in the air like you just don’t care" party vibe at weekends. Over the last 4 1/2 years, the old girl has lived a rock’n’roll lifestyle and now that a few wrinkles are showing, we’ve decided it’s time for a facelift! People’s has always been the destination for Clapham’s party crowd and from May onwards, we’ll also be the destination for major sporting events, as we introduce state-of-the-art flat screen TVs showing all the big games in full High Definition! We’re also rolling out a new diner-style menu featuring some irresistible dishes like buffalo wings, quesadillas, wraps, and lots more! And finally, we’ll be updating the interior, improving access to the party lounge, new artwork, new furniture, new lighting and some fresh botox... sorry Dulux for the walls! With all of the improvements we’re making, the only contentious change is the name,as People’s becomes "The Underdog bar and diner", the younger prettier sister to our Northcote Road neighbour! It’s going be awesome. Just think, the first big match Saturday, the roar of the crowd, the drama unfolding on crystal clear screens, the ecstasy as your team wins, then Clapham’s biggest party kicks into action, with all of your favourite indie and rock anthems.
